Can't have good Mexican-ish food without good salsa and chips. And ya can't have mediocre chips and salsa at Qdoba without paying $2.50 for about a quarter worth of chips and salsa. It's no wonder the lobby of the restaurant is always empty. I'll just stick to Moes from here on out.

Tried for the first time today, and it was very good! It is allot like Chipotle's (assembly line style) with many more options. I thought it was better. More flavorful. I had the chicken burrito on a wheat tortilla with Mexican rice, pinto beans, cheese, sour cream, and a super tasty salsa roja! The salsa roja was awesome!!! I cant wait to go back and try the Mexican gumbo, sounds very tasty! The whole staff was super friendly and smiling! :)

I stopped in at 8:45 P.M. with my 4 buddies on a road trip north. They close at 9:00 but they let us dine in until about 9:15. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. In terms of the food, it was pretty average. That may be because I'm biased to Chipotle, but they still had fresh ingredients, even with it being so close to closing time. Also, they had one of those new Coke drink machines with over 100 different drink options. Side note: a very clean bathroom and surprisingly high quality toilet paper.

First visit today. Wife and I split chicken quesadilla and each had different sides. We were pleasantly surprised. Definitely will return.

Tried this place for lunch today. I had the pick two, which allows you to pick 2 items from a list. I selected two tacos and soup. It was all very tasty and at a great price. The staff was very helpful and super nice.

My wife and I usually enjoy this type of mexican place. It reminds us of living in California. But this night we went and it was horrible. we went in at about 6:30 and ordered some tacos and a steak burrito. It was obvious that the staff were trying to seriously conserve ingredients. The burrito I ended up with was smaller than a tennis ball and the rice was hard as was the steak (been sitting out too long). the picture of the burrito is 3 times the size of what I got. My wife's tacos were basically lettuce filled tortillas. In the past I've have great experiences here but it's never the great experiences you remember, it's the bad ones. Sorry Qdoba, this night, you stank. Update: Wife and I both got sick that night. Probably from the food sitting out too long. Ugh!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
